About Round Lake Treatment Centre
Round Lake Treatment Centre (RLTC) is a First Nations non-profit, CARF-accredited residential addiction treatment centre. Our guiding philosophy is “Culture is Treatment.” We understand healing through relationships, cultural connection, personal responsibility and the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual dimensions of wellness.
Our structured, group-based treatment brings together Indigenous ways of knowing, cultural teachings and ceremonies, 12-Step and Wellbriety recovery principles, and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches. Elders, Knowledge Keepers and cultural leaders are essential partners whose teachings and authority we respect.
Our four core values guide our work: accepting responsibility for personal wellness; living with integrity, responsibility, accountability and gratitude; honouring individual differences and achievements; and being compassionate, respectful, supportive, encouraging and cooperative.
