Round Lake Alcohol & Drug Treatment Society

Round Lake Treatment Centre is operated by the Round Lake Alcohol & Drug Treatment Society, a non-profit society and registered charity. The Centre began operation in 1979.

The society has a membership of 64 and seven elected members of the Board of Directors. To apply to become a member, fill out a Membership Application Form. The membership fee is $5.00 for one year or $20 for five years.

The purposes of the Society are to:

  1. Operate a facility or facilities in British Columbia to provide treatment to and rehabilitate persons with alcohol, drug and other addictions, in particular First Nations and their members,
  2. Educate First Nations and their members about alcohol and drug addiction and prevention,
  3. Educate professionals about the prevention and treatment of drug and alcohol addiction amongst First Nations and their members, and
  4. Do all such things as are ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the purposes of the Society.
