Round Lake Alcohol & Drug Treatment Society
Round Lake Treatment Centre is operated by the Round Lake Alcohol & Drug Treatment Society, a non-profit society and registered charity. The Centre began operation in 1979.
The society has a membership of 64 and seven elected members of the Board of Directors. To apply to become a member, fill out a Membership Application Form. The membership fee is $5.00 for one year or $20 for five years.
The purposes of the Society are to:
- Operate a facility or facilities in British Columbia to provide treatment to and rehabilitate persons with alcohol, drug and other addictions, in particular First Nations and their members,
- Educate First Nations and their members about alcohol and drug addiction and prevention,
- Educate professionals about the prevention and treatment of drug and alcohol addiction amongst First Nations and their members, and
- Do all such things as are ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the purposes of the Society.
